A
semester course in small gas engine operation and repair.
This course also explores the technical use and care of a
lawn mower, garden tiller, edge trimmer and other domestic
engines. The student is expected to supply a small gas engine
for study. The course is open to students interested in basic
systems of 4-cycle gas engines. Occupational skills in the
areas of mechanic and groundskeeper will be taught. All personal
projects must have prior app"roval by the instructor.

student will have a hands-on experience growing plants. There
will be fun, creative, organized labs in the growing of plants
and the student develops skills helpful to be a florist, gardener,
greenskeeper, salesperson, plant specialist, lawn care specialist,
landscape designer, groundskeeper, turf manager and many others.

course covers the methods of record management and use of
computers in the management of business. There will be field
trips to agri-businesses, lending and marketing agencies.
This course includes human relations in such business applications
as interviews, advertising, salesmanship, communications,
record keeping and agricultural related business operations.
Students learn to use a computer "spreadsheet" and interpret
computer business data.
